Description
I've been so busy, that I just realized that there's tons of art I did over the summer that I haven't posted here yet. Anyway, this is the first book cover I did for GOS Multimedia (now Genius Book Services). James W. Hall is an award-winning thriller writer, but he also writes poetry, and this is for the cover of his collected book of poetry, called "All My Pwoblems." (You can find it here on Amazon.)
The poem that the book's title is taken from-- "Maybe Dats Your Pwoblem Too"-- is about a sad wanna-be Spiderman. Hence my picture of a Topher Grace-esque guy who is moodily contemplating a glowing radioactive spider. (I like to imagine the spider talking to Topher and sounding like Cheech Marin in Born in East L.A., but I'm weird.) James was very pleased with the artwork, and I sent him the original. It was really a pleasure to work with him.
