Here's another commission I did back in March, for a young lady named Kristin who really digs Doctor Who-- I portrayed her in a rose-colored version of one of the gowns that Sophia Myles wore as Madame Pompadour in the classic New Who episode, "The Girl in the Fireplace."

She's also holding a couple of marimba mallets, since that's her instrument, as well as a book, since she likes to write. And those are her two cats, M and Q. It was a birthday present-- and I'm happy to report she really likes how the portrait turned out. Huzzah!
