The Marquis de Sade and Laure

Look, more 18th century people! Yes, it's my good friend the Marquis de Sade again, this time stepping out with his redheaded mistress, Laure de Lauris. This was another commission for the wonderful , who, like the divine Marquis, is a person of the most discriminating taste.

The idea behind this pic was, de Sade and Laure are at a masquerade ball, dressed in costumes. Laure is all flowers and innocence, and de Sade is looking appropriately devilish.

I think Laure's hoops are my favorite part of this picture. You practically could hide a family of midgets under those things.
