I'm a bit behind on announcing the interviews I've posted on my blog, but I wanted to let you guys know about my last two awesome people I've interviewed. My very first ever Author of the Month was with Karri Shea, the talented author of the epic, novel-length sci-fi romance fanfic "Learning to Dance." It's fanfiction-- but don't let that put you off! It's miles better than many novels I've seen published, and a very devoted fandom has formed around this very story on Tumblr and Facebook. Be sure to check out Karri's interview to find out her story-- it's well worth it.

And the Artist of the Month for September is with deviantArt's own Kat Laurange, who has some great news-- she's one of the artists in the upcoming comics anthology, "Womanthology"!

I have a very exciting interviewee coming up this week-- it's Lora Innes, the author and artist behind "The Dreamer"! My interview with Lora, who is September's Author of the Month, will be posted this coming Thursday.

And speaking of blogging, Karri wrote up a very nice review of my short story, "The Ash-Slave." It's a retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale, but set in ancient Persia-- I originally wrote it for Dark Valentine Magazine, but it's now available on Amazon for less than a dollar. Check it out, and it interests you, get a copy!

Nice! I like reading author/artist interviews. Sometimes it feels good to know that people are just as weird as you are. :XD:
