More art backlog! Here's another commission I did at the end of 2014 for my client in Germany, who commissioned the piece "John Graham of Claverhouse, and his son Jamie" a few years ago. This again depicts John Graham of Claverhouse, the Viscount of Dundee, in a dream-like iconic mode. Even though the subject was a Jacobite leader from the baroque era, I looked at a lot of William Blake to get the right vibe.
I think we can safely sat that this piece would be a Jacobite's delight! (perhaps the client will ask you for a Charles Edward Stuart to create a matched set?).
Possibly! I'll ask her. (I'm such a Jacobin myself though.)
This looks very nice! ^^
