I did this last year for a Glencoe/McGraw Hill Timelinks reader about Lewis, Clark and Sacagawea. It's not especially accurate, but I had fun by contrasting Sacy with the uptight explorers with their white gloves, tasseled Hessian boots and Regency cravats. All in all, it turned out looking somewhat Disney-ish. I can imagine all the characters bursting into song. "Look... over there! Can't you see? Can't you imagine?"
Well of course lol. As long as it didn't veer too off track... both literally and figuratively. XD
They can't do anything that hasn't been done in all the bad Sacajawea movies and historical romances. Usually there's a love triangle between the three, with William Clark (the redhead) as the guy who gets the girl. The French trapper husband is usually there for comic relief, and I can't see it being any different in a Disney musical.
Hahaha! Off track. Awesome.
