Born in the 1750s-60s just in time to witness American Independence, French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. And if lucky enough to survive all that, the beggining of the Victorian Era...

I feel being asian limits my opportunities in some ways, I remember Martha (first black companion in Doctor Who) saying when they travelled to Shakespearean England and the Globe Theatre she was worried she'd be carted off as a slave, but the Doctor's a boss and would protect her. :aww:

So I'd probably say the Swinging 1960's because of the genesis of Modern Rock and Roll from the Beatles and Woodstock, etc. :D

Tough call, but most likely the 1940s feel like I was supposed to be born then instead of like forty years later.

This is really hard deary. Cause I sort of completely want to go back in time and nail Manfred Von Richthofen, but I adore the styles of the 1800's, and would just die to see ancient Greece.

Also, the early Seventies to see if I could get a certain rockstar in the sack. LOL. I'd abuse time travel for naughty things. I'm awful.

I'll just vote ancient Greece because I can get into the least amount of trouble there.

Tricky. I've voted Middle Ages, mainly to be able to see Richard III in person :D Otherwise, I'd say Rome and Victorian (England, Yorkshire, Bronte anyone? :D )

Definitely the 50's-60's...the music/fashion/cars/civil rights- it was a very exciting time!
Next, probably the 20's or 30's-40's.

I voted 50s-60s, but it was a close-run thing with 30s-40s. I tend to watch movies and listen to music from the 30s-50s, and I like books from that time too, but I also have a habit of dressing 50s-60s... so lack of war-time won out. =P All the periods would be fascinating, but the 20th century is more confortable. =)

And there would be plumbing, which is always a consideration, and kitchen appliances that we'd know how to use. I'm not sure how I'd go with a wood-fired oven! =P
